Dr. Hilary L. Link will become president of Drew University effective July 1.
Link was previously president of Allegheny College, dean of Temple University in Rome, vice provost at Barnard College of Columbia University, and director of science programs at New York University.
“I am excited to join the leadership of Drew University, a strong institution known for providing its students with a truly immersive educational experience and a faculty strongly dedicated to student success,” said Link. “The past several years have been particularly challenging for small liberal arts colleges, and I look forward to working with Drew faculty and staff across the university, including the College of Liberal Arts, the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies, and the Drew Theological School, to build on their tremendous work . I look forward to working with the entire Drew community to create a path for the university to a vibrant and successful future.”
Link holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA and PhD in Italian Language and Literature from Yale University.
